Laser cutting machine safe operation flow

First of all, open the main switch of the regulated power supply, the output voltage to the regulated mode, can not use mains power; After the general power switch of the machine tool is switched on, the control power of the machine tool is switched on. After the system self-check is completed, each shaft of the machine tool returns to the reference point, and then the chiller is started again to check the water temperature and water pressure. After the chiller is powered on for three minutes, the fan rotates and starts cooling.

Then open the nitrogen bottle and oxygen bottle, check the pressure of the gas bottle, START the air compressor and cold drying machine, when the chiller will reach the set temperature, turn on the main power supply of the laser, turn on the low pressure, when the words “HV READY” appear on the laser panel, the high pressure, when the words “HV START” appear on the laser panel, the red indicator of the laser light on. The “LASER H-VOLTAGE NOT READY” alarm previously displayed in the upper right corner of the CNC system disappears, indicating that the high voltage is normal and the laser enters the standby working state.

1. Confirm the type, thickness and size of materials before cutting. Be sure to check that all cutting heads are correct.

2. Adjust the plate so that its edge is parallel to the X axis and Y axis of the machine tool to avoid the cutting head working outside the plate range. Move the Z-axis to the starting point of cutting to simulate the procedure to be executed to ensure that there will be no alarm beyond the soft limit, enter the editing mode, adjust the power and speed punching time according to the type of material and thickness.

3. If you want to cut carbon steel plate, select nitrogen in manual mode and adjust the pressure value of the barometer for cutting. Then check the focus position and perform the coaxial inspection procedure to ensure that the laser beam passes through the center of the nozzle, and the Z-axis is moved to the plate surface. Adjust the distance between the nozzle and the plate surface (adjust the potentiometer of the control box).

4. Only when the above items are normal can we switch to the execution state and cut the workpiece.

5, if there is hanging slag, slag back or other abnormal situation in the cutting process, it should be suspended immediately, find out the reason, and continue cutting after the problem is solved, so as to avoid damaging the equipment.

6, the work is finished, shut down in the following order: 1) turn off the laser high pressure; 2) Low pressure on the laser panel; 3) Disconnect the main power supply of the laser; 4) Turn off the water chiller; 5) Disconnect the control power supply of the machine tool and switch off the main power supply of the machine tool; 6) Close the cold drying machine; 7) Close the air compressor; 8) Close the oxygen and nitrogen valves.

Of course, different machines and equipment will be different, but the process is very much the same.
