The existing laser cutting of aluminum alloy generally adopts the method of cutting head and auxiliary gas. Its mechanism is that the laser focuses on the inside of the aluminum alloy, the high energy gasification melts the aluminum alloy, and the high pressure auxiliary gas body blows away the melted material. This cutting method mainly uses two kinds of laser with wavelength of about 10640nm and 1064nm, both of which belong to the infrared wavelength range. In the precision cutting of aluminum alloy sheet with cutting size accuracy of micron level, due to its large spot and large heat-affected area, it is easy to produce hanging slag and micro-cracks at the cutting edge, which ultimately affects the precision and effect of cutting.

The laser cutting system and method of aluminum alloy in the example can realize the cutting of the workpiece in a non-contact way by using the smaller pulse width and shorter wavelength of the laser beam, and avoid the contact stress loss of the workpiece treated by the mechanical method, as well as the problems such as micro-cracks and hanging slag caused by the hot working mechanism in the cutting process. The workpiece to be cut is fixed horizontally by using a specific fixture, and the cutting area of the workpiece to be cut is supported from the back while the position of the slit is kept in the air, so as to prevent the cutting edge effect from being damaged by the stress caused by falling in the cutting moment. The circulating cooling water in the water tank device is used to cool the cutting parts to reduce the influence of heat on the surrounding materials and further improve the cutting quality; Multiple cutting paths are combined to expand slit width and improve cutting efficiency.
